Thank you all for your prayers for the team.  We have all arrived back in the states exhausted, but with all our luggage.  There was a great deal of concern about Ross’ boarding pass for the flight from Frankfurt to Chicago.  He got it about 15 minutes prior to boarding.  Also, our flight was not affected by the airport strike in Frankfurt.

We had a busy but wonderful day, the last Sunday we were in the Cape.  We were able to participate in 3 different services.  We were able to pray with several people through out the day to turn their hearts to Christ or to recommit themselves to Christ.  The evening service was a combined service with many churches. We were blessed by listening to the Rock of Ages choir sing and to Stewart Briscoe preach.  Then after the evening service we were able to pray with many of the pastors and ministries that were receiving the boxes from the container.

It’s great to be back but we all left a bit of our hearts back in the Cape.  The challange now is for us to remember the lessons we learned and the experiences we had.  As Bill had reminded us on Monday before we left, it’s easier to witness to people we don’t know than those we do know as we have nothing to loose.  If they reject us we may never see them again.  The hard part is witnessing to our neighbors, co-workers and family.  Being mission minded is not just going somewhere else to share the hope of Christ. It is sharing Christ with those around us every day.

Welcome
